Peggy Wheeler Vice President, Sales and Public Relations
Peggy graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis on Graphic Design. Her eye for detail and creativity took her to Derby City Litho where she worked for 6 years in their sales division. In 1994, she began working for Derby City Vending as a Sales Representative and, after a short time, became Vice President of Public Relations and Sales. It didn’t take long for her to realize a need for wellness in the workplace and she began developing ways for her company to partner with its accounts to help improve the healthiness of their employees. Over the past 20 years that she has been with Derby City Vending, Peggy has seen her goal of promoting the health and wellness of her own employees, as well as the employees of countless businesses all across the Louisville and Indiana region, take shape. From providing fresh, healthy food to accounts on a daily basis, to coordinating health fairs, lunch and learns and chef demonstrations, to developing a nutritionally-balanced, 400 calories-or-less “Stay Fit” menu, Derby City Vending has been a pioneer in an industry that otherwise disregards the health and wellness of its customers. When she is not working hard on behalf of Derby City Vending, Peggy enjoys horseback riding and traveling out west.
